Link Electronics was founded in July 1989 with headquarters in Cape Girardeau Missouri. The company's charter was to develop quality, reasonably priced products for the television broadcast industry. Link is well known as a professional supplier of broadcast equipment. Within six months of founding this new company, Link Electronics brought to market a series of audio and video distribution amplifiers. The product line also consisted of slave generators for system timing.
